Why you must become the villain?
I remembered making this quote last year. It generated eight likes and one shared post. I created this quote after watching the re-runs of The Dark Knight. I think it's about time that I also share this quote to others. Enjoy!
Napaisip ako eh. In some ways, being the villain is one sure way to shut down the door on most people. What I mean is, people do not respond well to negativity. However, it is also true that there are some people who may be made to move precisely because of that.
hmm, does this quote also apply to the fact that 'bad life situations' as the villain and you get motivated to actually DO something meaningful because of it? :) Because if it's the case, I can't see how enduring negativity from others will make me persevere more...
Oh wait! This is exactly the situation with me and my inlaws. #Them as the villain. And I'm persevering to save up so I can study without their help.
I believe we humans are made to thrive on pain and difficulty. After all of those sorrows, we will feel that euphoric bliss that tastes like honey.
About your situation, I remembered this story from my college classmate. He encountered this Engineer in his board review class. The engineer told them that his inlaws usually belittle him because of his low salary teaching job in the university. He didn't say a thing to them. What he did was he took a Master's Degree. After that, he took a Doctorate Degree. And never again was he belittle.
Ngayon alam ko na kung bakit pd magpakakontrabida... tnx dito sir!
ReplyDeleteThanks Arwin!
